This hotel in Marstrand offers great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. One thing that stood out to me was the fantastic location right in the center of the island, allowing us easy access to all the attractions. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms, although basic, were equipped with modern facilities, and I especially loved the bunk beds on the ground floor. The breakfast provided was a delightful start to the day.

The location is perfect, right in the centre of the island, allowing easy access to explore Marstrand and enjoy the stunning views from the top of the main tower.

Soldatens Bed & Breakfast was an incredible experience! I felt like I was transported back in time as I enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the historic castle's thick-walled room. The castle area was enormous, with hidden gangways that truly made me feel like I was in the 16th century. Plus, as a guest, I had the freedom to explore the castle and its rooms, which was fascinating. The views from the top of the main tower were absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this hotel for its unique historical charm and amazing location.

This accommodation is highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience a historical stay in a unique location. It is located right in the centre of the island, surrounded by breathtaking views of the fortress and the picturesque town. the rooms are simple but clean and comfortable, and the private bathroom on the corridor works surprisingly well. the staff is lovely and helpful, and the opportunity to roam freely in the fortress at night is an unforgettable experience.

The rooms are a bit pricy for having a 6 people room with bunk beds.

Liked the army theme and clean rooms. the breakfast was also very nice and we had a great view from our room. the key location was perfect for exploring the town and the ferry ride was so much fun. It was a unique experience staying in a place with a cannon firing event.

Disliked the outside bathroom and the lack of Wi-Fi in the room. We also had noisy neighbors in the middle of the night, which was quite unpleasant.

Outstanding place, memorable fortress stay, lovely small town, stunning views, interesting exploration, knowledgeable staff.
